1 cup butter
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
2 1/4 cups All-Purpose flour
2 cups finely chopped pecans
Powdered sugar and brown paper bag
Preheat oven 325º.
In a large mixing bowl beat butter until softened. Add brown sugar and molasses
and beat until fluffy. Add flour and beat until well blended. Stir in pecans.
Shape dough into 1" size balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about two inches
apart. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove and cool on racks. After completely cooled
shake cookies gently in a bag filled with powdered sugar.
Makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
