Pumpkin Butterscotch Cookies  Recipe

Pumpkin Butterscotch Cookies

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup butterscotch chips

Topping Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup milk (cool)
2 cups powder sugar


1. Mix together pumpkin, vanilla, flour and salt; blend until well mixed then add remaining ingredients except butterscotch chips.
2. Mix together well then add butterscotch chips and fold together.
3. Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

Topping Instructions:
1. Mix brown sugar and butter in sauce pan until comes to a boil, then add 1/3 cup milk and let cool.
2. Add powdered sugar and stir together well. Spread on top of cookies.
